Segmentation is the cheapest security you can buy
Guest Wi-Fi, staff devices, servers and payment terminals sharing one flat network means one compromised laptop reaches everything. Separating them costs configuration time on a managed switch and nothing else, and it turns a breach into an inconvenience rather than an incident.
Documented, so it is not one person’s memory
Every install we do leaves a diagram, a port map and a credentials handover. If we vanished tomorrow, another engineer could pick it up in an afternoon. A network only one person understands is a risk you are carrying without pricing it.
Wi-Fi coverage is measured, not guessed
Access points placed where a power socket happened to be is why half your office has no signal. We survey the space — walls, floors, interference from neighbouring networks — and place them by coverage, then verify with measurements afterwards rather than asking whether it feels better.
Plan for the office you will have in two years
Cabling is the one part that is genuinely expensive to redo, because it means opening walls again. Running more capacity than you currently need costs a little more now and saves a disruptive rewire later. Switches and access points can be upgraded any weekend; the cable in the wall cannot.

- Yes — from a ten-person office upwards. Smaller sites benefit most, because they are usually the ones running on consumer equipment that was never meant to carry a business.
- Can you set up secure remote access for staff?
- Yes, using WireGuard or an equivalent VPN with per-user keys, so access can be revoked for one person without changing anything for everyone else.
- Do you provide ongoing support?
- We offer monthly support with monitoring and a defined response time, or ad-hoc work if you would rather call only when something needs attention.
- Can you work around our office hours?
- Yes. Cabling and switch changes are disruptive, so we schedule them for evenings or weekends. Anything that will interrupt connectivity is agreed with you and communicated to your team in advance.
- Do you supply the hardware?
- We can, or you can buy it yourself — we will specify exactly what to get either way. Buying it yourself means you own it outright and can see what it cost, which some clients prefer, and we have no objection to it.
